SALT LAKE CITY, October 9, 2020**—For the fifth consecutive year, Western Peaks Logistics (WPL) is included on the Inc. 5000, a prestigious list of the country’s fastest-growing private companies published annually by Inc. Magazine.
WPL’s NO. 2357 ranking is a result of the company’s 177 percent growth in revenue over the past three years (2016–2019). All signs point to continued growth for the leading same-day/next-day and last-mile freight-forwarding, delivery, and logistics provider.
“WPL is moving more freight than ever before,” said Tyler Thatcher, CEO of WPL. “Because we had our critical infrastructure firmly in place before the COVID-19 pandemic began, we’ve been fortunate to be able to keep operating at full-speed to serve our customers and provide the most comprehensive shipping solution in the Rocky Mountain West.”
An example of WPL’s tremendous growth over the past couple of years is the construction of a 27,000-foot distribution facility in Colorado Springs, Colo., slated to open in early October. WPL also added a full-service cross-dock facility in Twin Falls, Idaho, this past year, further enhancing the courier company’s connections and dedicated line-hauls between key markets in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, New Mexico, Wyoming, and surrounding areas.
WPL will continue to expand into locations adjacent to its current service area where current customers have delivery needs that are underserved, carefully controlling growth to ensure the company can guarantee the outstanding performance levels that customers have come to trust.
